Daffodil Walk and My Mum is an ode to my lovely mother and the experience of walking my two beloved dogs in the countryside near my home. This park/countryside is stunning and it feels like being immersed in oxygen when walking there. The wood there is a very special place and is filled with thousands of daffodils in the spring which is a breathtaking sight to behold.
My mum is the most important person in my life and as such this painting is dedicated to her. Love, depth of soul and loyalty is a perfect description for my mum. The sonnet on here is the famous Sonnet 18 about a loved one being so loved by the artist that even a summer's day doesn't compare to the beauty of the beloved.
