A love of sunshine exudes from my paintings. I paint to make myself and the appreciators of my work happy. To turn the everyday into gold is a fun trick of mine, to create joy and send the message that all is good, that everything happens for a reason and there is often beauty in the unexpected.
This painting inspired by my Rainbow Rose from a few years ago. I love its colours (as is often the case with all of my paintings). The colours are bright and cheery and can easily create positivity in any situation in anyone who enjoys them (which is like gold dust for me as an artist and a human).
